The Terrapins took over 30 swimmers between the ages of 8 and 18 up north to compete in the TEAM Summer Invitational in Eugene, Oregon June 27th-29th, 2025. The squad was impressive and led by five individual High Point winners: Sofia Khalfin (8-under girls), Patrick Forster (11-12 boys), Gabriel Gordeev (13-14 boys), Abby Ikeda (15-16 girls), and Morgan Wendler (15-16 boys.) The Terrapins came in 2nd place overall and scored 2,688 points collectively. Only the host team (TEAM Eugene Aquatics) scored more and they had over 100 swimmers compete.
The squad was impressive from our youngest to our oldest swimmer. There were so many great swims and there were a ton of lifetime personal bests achieved. The Terrapins were well represented in the Finals each night with many swimmers getting second chance opportunities. The team vibe was awesome, and the swimmers did an outstanding job supporting one another. All the coaches are so proud of the hard work the swimmers have put in thus far and they got a chance to showcase that work.
We are looking forward to the second half of the season as we roll into the Championship part of the summer. Keep working hard and let’s ride this positive energy all the way to the finish line. Way to go Terrapins!!
