We had 57 swimmers ranging from 8 to 18 years old make the trek to the Phoenix Winter Invitational on February 14th-February 17th, 2025. Historically, this meet is always a fun highlight of the year. The swimmers did not disappoint as we came in 3rd place overall behind Scottsdale Swim Club (2nd place) and Phoenix Swim Club (1st place, home team), both of which have 3-4x as many swimmers as we have on our team. There were 5 Terrapins that took home high point awards for their respective age groups: Grace Willis (11-12 girls), Thomas Reed (11-12 boys), Simone Morrison (13-14 girls), Morgan Wendler (13-14 boys), and Diego Castaneda (17-18 boys). There were many swimmers that achieved best times and new cuts (age group champ times, Far Western Times, Sectional times, and Futures.) It was really fun and rewarding to see all the swimmers cheer and support one another. We are really proud of all the hard work and dedication. Let’s keep it up and carry the momentum into the Spring/Summer seasons.
