Seventeen Terrapin Swimmers participated in the 14&Un Short Course Winter Age Group Championships on December 1st-3rd in Moraga, CA.  Together the team had over 85 lifetime best swims and were led by 12-year-old Marina Didenko of Concord.  Marina placed 1st in all seven of her seven events, posting breakthrough times, and winning High Point for her age group.  11-year-old girls Sasha Gavrylenko & Grace Willis also scored in the top 4 or better for each of their events adding to some of the team’s top overall finalists.  13-year-old boys Morgan Wendler & Giovanni Castaneda (Concord) lead the way for the Terrapin boys achieving multiple best times and qualifying for finals in every event they swam.    

The coaches are so proud of all the swimmers for their outstanding efforts, sportsmanship, and team spirit.  Almost all the swimmers had over 95% lifetime best swims and showed great perseverance in the cold and rainy weather.
