The Terrapins had 35 SR and SR Development swimmers travel down to Clovis to compete in the 2022 Arena Grand Challenge Meet June 30th- July 3rd. The team was a mixture of some college veterans all the way down to the youngest swimmer of 14 years old. The swimmers showed tons of team spirit and had a great meet racking up 123 best times, a new JR National Winter cut (Mason Wendler, 50FR), two new Sectional qualifiers (Daniel Lewis in 100BR/400IM, and Cyrus Jackman in 100FL), a new Futures qualifier (Sophia Pedersoli, 100BK), and a new Far Western Qualifier (Christian Ceja, 200BR). The team came in 6th place overall scoring 470 points combined. The coaches were so proud to see the swimmers overcome the 99 degree heat with long timelines and continue to show their toughness and resiliency session after session.
