The Terrapins scored 1527 points to finish 3rd place at the Terrapins Season End Long Course Invitational. The Pleasanton Seahawks won the meet with 2574 points while the Santa Clara Swim Club finished second place with 2034 points. The meet was attended by 570 swimmers from throughout Northern California.

The Terrapins were led by 14 year old’s Mason Wendler and Diego Castaneda along with 9 year old Marina Didenko and 11 year old Morgan Wendler.

Mason Wendler was the High Point winner for the 13-14 boys scoring 89 total points while scoring in all 10 of his events and swimming to first place finishes in the 200IM (2:12.94—New TERA team Record), 200BK (2:12.92), 100BR (1:11.85), 400fr (4:13.75) and the  400IM (4:51.48).

Diego Castaneda was a very close 2nd place in the 13-14 boys High Point race scoring 86 points and winning 7 events (100fr,100fly,200fr,800fr,1500fr,100bk and 50fr)  Diego’s 57.31 100fly swim was a Junior National Qualifying time.

Morgan Wendler was the 3rd place finisher in the 11-12 Boys High Point race scoring 72 points overall.  Morgan swimming at the bottom of his age group at 11 years old scored in all 10 events and won the 200BR event.

Marina Didenko, also swimming at the bottom of her age group as a 9 year old, placed second in the 10-under girls High Point race with 88 points, just 1 point behind 1st place.  Marina won 5 events (100fly,200IM,50BR,100BR and 50fly).
