ahooo...let's GOOOO!!  San Francisco Baykeeper swim from the Golden Gate Bridge to McCovey Cove yesterday...thanks to all the aquatically minded volunteers who supported the swim. Special thanks to my pilots Jon Belinski, JD Durst, 'handler' Thea and self-proclaimed towel holder extraordinaire and hubby  Phillip Bowen. 6.5 mile swim completed in 1 hour 56 minutes (yes we had a nice flood). Could not ask for a more beautiful day. Received the "Golden Rivet Award" standing at home plant at the Giants game. While it was a wonderful honor to receive the award, at the end of the day it is about supporting Baykeeper, an organization that helps keep toxics and pollutants out of SF Bay and as someone who has been swimming in SF Bay for the past 38 years I have a significant personal interest!!!
